Case Study: Credibly 2D Animation

This month we are taking a look back at a 2D animation we did for Credibly, that features an original character who uses Credibly’s services to receive the right-sized capital for his business.
The Approach
After working with Credibly on several corporate videos, testimonials, and video blogs, this 2D animation serves as a nice complement to their other content. Previous projects we have done for Credibly entail corporate interviews and office settings. This time, we wanted to give viewers a lighter, looser look at one of Credibly’s main pillars, right-sized capital. So we thought it best to create a 2D animation that explains right-sized capital in a interesting visual way.
Character and Story
The video follows Jim the Gym Owner, an original character created by True Film Production as a way to use our storytelling skills to show off Credibly’s services. In this animation, Jim goes through the process of needing a loan, not knowing how much he needs, and working with a Credibly representative to get the right-sized capital he needs to grow his business. True Film Production created the entire video from creative conception, design, scripting, storyboarding and eventually bringing this story to life. This video really helps the target audience understand exactly what right-sized capital is and how it makes Credibly different from their competition.
